Klem

AI assistant built into Kabaun: maps accounting data to emission categories, detects anomalies, suggests reductions.

Klem is the AI assistant built into Kabaun. It supports the full carbon accounting cycle: automatic mapping of ERP and accounting data to GHG Protocol categories, anomaly detection (duplicate invoices, inconsistent units, seasonal breaks), and reduction lever suggestions prioritised by carbon ROI.

Klem relies on emission factors from ADEME Base Carbone and DEFRA, and on sector patterns observed across the customer base. It also drafts the ESRS E1 narrative sections (transition strategy, climate governance) from the calculated quantitative data, ready for the sustainability team to review.

Klem does not replace expert judgement: every recommendation is fully traceable to its source, and every suggestion can be approved or rejected by the user before entering the official report.
