This is a major milestone for Kabaun and our entire ecosystem. After weeks of intensive development and a sustained deployment pace, we are proud to reveal the new version of the Kabaun platform.

More than just an update, this version has been redesigned to meet a clear ambition: transforming the complexity of carbon data into a fluid, precise, and actionable decision-making tool. This release marks a turning point in how we support the low-carbon transition.

Here are the four aspects of this transformation.

A reimagined user experience (UI/UX)

Feedback from one of our beta users perfectly captures our goal: "A seamless navigation that makes you forget the technical complexity of the subject." We have entirely redesigned the interface to be not only more aesthetic but, above all, more functional.

• Consistent and streamlined Interface: Visual elements (colors, charts, components) have been harmonized to provide a smoother reading experience, both within the application and in exported documents.

• Simplified user journeys: Navigation has been rationalized to reduce friction. Actions are clearer, forms are more guided, and the structuring of projects and campaigns is now more intuitive.

• Dynamic reporting: Reports are now true strategic tools. They allow you to analyze various carbon intensity indicators and navigate dynamically through each visualization. They are fully customizable and compliant with GHG Protocol and Bilan Carbone® standards for both internal and regulatory use.

Introducing KLEM: Your AI Carbon Expert

The standout feature of this version is the introduction of KLEM, our AI module. Currently in beta, Klem is not just a chatbot, it is a true methodological assistant.

Accessible throughout the platform and from the header for any questions regarding the tool or methodologies, Klem supports you on:

• Methodology: Guidance on structuring projects according to the GHG Protocol or Bilan Carbone®.

• LCA Expertise: Advice on standards associated with Life Cycle Assessment (ISO 14067, etc.).

• Educational Guidance: A valuable resource for understanding complex calculations without leaving the interface.

PCF Module: Measuring Your Products' Carbon Footprint

Carbon management no longer stops at the corporate level; it now drills down to the product. The new PCF (Product Carbon Footprint) module and advanced emission factor management allow you to perform your own carbon life cycle analyses.

• Publishing factors: You can now create and publish your own emission factors to make them available across your entire organization.

• Intensity calculation: The platform displays the carbon impact of each stage of the product life cycle (e.g., kgCO2​e/product), facilitating precise environmental performance management.

Connect: The power of "invisible" integration

For companies managing large data volumes or requiring high-level automation, we have developed Kabaun Connect to give you total control over your data flows.

• Custom Mappers (Excel & CSV): You can now create your own "mappers" autonomously. This allows you to import any CSV or Excel file and configure the matching with the platform’s structure yourself.

• Tailored connectors: Take automation further by building your own connectors. You can now link Kabaun directly to your daily tools (ERP, accounting software, etc.) to collect activity data automatically and securely, without manual intervention.

Thanks to these evolutions, Kabaun becomes the central hub of your carbon strategy, capable of centralizing complex data streams with reinforced reliability.
